Sunshine Legacies is a collaborative art platform where sculpture, painting, and installations converge. Founded by artists Frankie Flowers and Geli Alvarez, who have over 25 years of experience, we explore diverse mediums, focusing on public art, murals, large sculptures, relief murals, and community performance art.

Nature drives our work, inviting others to pause, observe, and re-interpret the natural world’s impact on our surroundings.

GELI ALVAREZ MULET

Nominee for the most creative teacher award!
Geli Alvarez worked with children with disabilities, impoverished communities and homeless children. He is a Visual Arts teacher with 15+ years of experience in art therapy. Husband and father of three, he is the epitome of resourcefulness.

His latest project is a family affair called Children Teaching Children.

Teaching and producing art keeps him active in the visual art world. The weeks he spends hiking always energizes and inspires him to continue the devoted life of a nature witness artist.

Frankie Flowers is a talented wood sculpting artist based in Highlands County, known for his intricate and expressive creations that celebrate nature’s beauty.
With a deep connection to the earth, Frankie is also an avid gardener, channeling his passion into creating sustainable food forests that nourish both the land and the community.
His work blends the art of sculpting with environmental stewardship, creating unique pieces that reflect the harmony between nature and creativity. Whether shaping wood or cultivating gardens, Frankie’s artistry and green thumb are a testament to his dedication to preserving and enhancing the natural world.
