“As I was putting some final touches on a modern portrait, my wife, seeing the fall qualities of the colors, she stopped and said: “it would be beautiful if you could do this for each of the seasons.” Inspiration often comes from unexpected places, and that night after she said that, I asked myself: “Why not?” And it gave way to these four paintings: Lady of Summer, Lady of Autumn, Lady of Winter, and Lady of Spring.
Each one representing colors, feeling, and the impulse of Mother Nature throughout the year.
As an homage to Earth Day, this is my offering.
